School Librarian, District of Columbia Public Schools, Washington, DC -- July 2011-present
Library media specialist for a Title I inner-city elementary school. Responsible for teaching 18 classes a week to children ages 3 to 12. Primarily focused on teaching 21st century information literacy to a population of students that have little to no access to computers or technology outside of the school environment.
