Welcome Home Community Newspaper is a 12-year-old monthly publication reaching over 60,000 homes in nine zips codes in northern San Antonio, in addition to over 15,000 in rack distribution.
My duties include managing community submissions, assigning/approving stories and edits to copy editors, writing feature stories and community interest pieces, and ensuring relevancy of Welcome Home to the community through social media, web content, and maintaining relationships with school districts, local government and businesses.
