All the intricate pottery and various items looked to me like a perfect image to create a fantasy village for Gnomes. The pottery has been modified as homes and other building for the Gnomes. Due to the small size of most of the Gnomes in my artwork I created one Gnome that was swinging out of control on the elevator crane to allow a close-up of one. Reference used was stock from *malleni-stock called Berwartstein Castle Stock 07. Original artwork is on Canson Bristol 10" x 8" in size. I created the artwork with a Paper Mate Flair pen and colored the image using Prismacolor colored pencils.

Caterpillar in a field of "Fly Agaric" mushrooms. It was a illustration project using a monochromatic color scheme with tints and tones. Kind of reminds me of a whimsical Alice in Wonderland. Created in Adobe Illustrator.

My client needed a logo for a boxer nicknamed Dynamite. The logo was to be stylized like the paintings on the WWII bomber planes. As the logo would be used in posters, t-shirts, stickers, and other multimedia it was created in Adobe Illustrator.

Image of my wife's cat Stormie. It took awhile to get the reference photo of her cat playing with the computer mouse just right. I added the mouse for some humor in the image, as this is a very playful/strange cat. Line art created with a Koh-I-Noor tech pen on Crescent hot press illustration board. The original measures 11 1/2" long by 7 1/2" tall. The image was selected and published in the Tecumseh Review, a book of student projects from Vincennes University.

Artwork of my family dog Shelley (Me and my wife Melinda's dog, even though everyone who meets her claims he ). Shelley posed for me in a chair in the sun-room that I photographed as reference for my artwork - as she can't stand still long enough to sketch. Original artwork is 9"x 12" with a plain border on Canson Bristol. Created with my dip pen and ink (Esterbrook 905 Radio Nib and Black Cat ink), colored with Prismacolor markers, and touched up with Prismacolor colored pencils.

My fictional/imaginary animal is a horned owl mixed with a duck and raccoon - and modifications. So I combined the words DUCk and racCOON to create my animal name Duccoon Owl. The body is a owl that has a enlarged head/neck, has duck feet with owl claws, a duck bill, two raccoon tails, raccoon ears, raccoon face coloring, raccoon whiskers, and the body has raccoon coloring. Original artwork on Canson Bristol 8" x 11". Created with dip pen and ink (Esterbrook 905 Radio nib), Crayola SuperTip markers, and highlights with Prismacolor colored pencils.

I used pen and ink (Dip pen with Esterbrook 905 Radio nib) to create the lines on Canson Bristol 8.25" x 10.75". Colored using Crayola SuperTip and Prismacolor markers, additional color added with Prismacolor colored pencils.

Caricature/Cartoon Portrait of a fellow dA artist lions-nd-yellocake. I adjusted many of her features, while keeping the caricature pleasing, but in the end it seems to be more of a cartoon portrait. I used pen and ink (Dip pen with Esterbrook 905 Radio nib) to create the lines on Canson Bristol 10.50" x 8.25". Colored using Sargent fine tip markers and Prismacolor markers, additional color was added with Prismacolor colored pencils.
