ABOUT ME
My name is Matthew Wayne Schroeder. I am 25 years old. I was born in Newcastle – in the battlefields area of Kwazulu-Natal - South Africa. I have loved travel and adventure all my life. As a boy I journeyed throughout South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe on 4×4 road-trips with my family. During high school I was fortunate enough to go to Vancouver for 3 months on a student exchange program, and to go on holiday to Hawaii. I was very involved in community service as well, spending a lot of time in the rural Transkei on outreach projects. During my teens I also began questioning everything, devouring books, having lengthy debates and gazing curiously at the stars.
