Wednesdays 2-7pm, three groups of students between the ages of 6 and 12. Teacher should be willing and capable to teach basics first and personal expression second. Sections of classes should be spent on discussion of art history. Projects should be connected with other subjects covered at school (i.e., Egyptian-themed projects while learning about ancient Egypt in history class, etc.) The schedule coincides with public school schedule for major holidays (winter vacation, for example). We stay open on days when schools might be closed but parents' offices are likely to be open. We ask that you be available to accompany children on at least two field trips per year (MFA, etc). Additional weekend art classes are possible if you are available for work on Wednesdays.
