ASSISTANT ANIMATORS FOR THEATRICAL SHORT -feature animation production pipeline.
Movie short in the style of the classical Disney features is currently looking for assistant animators skilled in Toon Boom software to join our team.
We are in the final production stages of a hybrid live action and animated theatrical short in the style of classical Disney features. The fully orchestrated movie has endearing distinct and memorable characters, original songs and full live-action choreography. The actors are shot over green screen and the world around them consists of 2D illustrated backgrounds, VFX and 2D traditionally animated characters.
We have had an outstanding award winning live action crew as well as an incredible animation team including a variety of 2D traditional animators inclusive of Disney feature animation veterans. We are looking for assistant animators who will:
- Meet scheduled deadlines.
- Be a dedicated team player able to make a commitment to the project as this is pains taking full fluid animation, 24fps working on 2’s. Clean up/ assistant animators will draw out each frame in full and do not rely on shortcuts or puppet animation.
-Take rough animation and create clean, detailed line work based on the character model sheets as well as ink and paint the clean line work.
Despite the high production values, this is a low budget spec project. We are offering a flat rate of 2,000.00 for every 6 minutes of cleaned, inked and painted animation.
