We are a biotech company in Germany searching for an experienced 3-D animator/modeler to create a product demo video on a freelance/independent contractual basis.
We would like to commission a 1 minute, 30 second 3D animation displaying spinal implant technology for viewing on CD-ROM and our web site. The video consists of a company logo, information about the implant and the 3-D animation of the implant placed in the spine, microscopic-level close-ups of the implant surface texture and a cellular view of cell growth on the implant. Some modeling is required, and texture generation and particle animation also required at the micro and cellular level.
Freelancers with 3DSMax experience in technical 3-D animation should apply. Other 3-D applications can be used, but models will be provided in Autodesk DFX or DWG formats.
Some experience in medical 3-D animation is a plus but not required. We would like to see video samples from bidders to gauge this experience. We can supply models, storyboards, samples and descriptions to define what needs to be presented in the video.
