Right now, I am the sole organizer for a non-profit organization, the Plato Institute, and volunteering project, Nuova. I also give my time to local charities on a regular basis.
I am looking for a web designer to help me setup at least three Wordpress websites:
www.plato-institute.org (a non-profit organization devoted to funding philanthropic acts)
www.n-u-o-v-a.org (a book fundraiser for V-DAY, an international women’s charity)
www.luke-kernan.com (a professional website documenting my activities and causes)
Credit will be given to the successful candidate for their work. That individual will be able to use said websites as part of their portfolio as well as take advantage of any networking opportunities that would result from the work. I will also write a personal reference letter for the successful candidate upon completion of the website(s).
Remuneration will also take the shape of a small service fee to be negotiated for the work.
Please note that I will be developing the websites along with the successful candidate, so that I may one day take over the overall process. I will be using the successful candidate as a resource. Both patience and willingness to teach are great assets to have for this position.
