    Every month, our website is visited by over 50,000 employers interested in hiring freelancers. These employers may contact you in the following ways:
    • Contact/Hire Me button - Employers can click the Contact/Hire Me button located on your profile to send you a message via our website.
    • Contact info - Employers may contact you directly if you have included your contact info on your profile.
    • Applications - Employers may contact you privately via applications you submit.
  • How do I get paid for work I do?
    Freelanced.com is designed to help you get hired as a freelancer. Once you get hired, we move out of the way. Because we don't charge any commission on the money you earn, we don't get involved in transactions between you and other members of our site. It is our recommendation that you only begin work on a freelance job after you are satisfied with the employer's commitment to your payment terms. Most of our members use services such as PayPal and Escrow.com for sending and receiving payments, but you are free to choose any payment method which suits your needs.

  • How much does it cost?
    It's Free! Post as many jobs as you like, free of charge. When you hire a freelancer, you will pay that freelancer directly. We don't charge any hidden fees or commissions.
  • How do I hire freelancers?
    We provide two primary ways in which you can hire freelances.

    The preferred way to hire freelancers is to post your job. After your job is approved, our vast community of freelancers will be notified of your job, and those who are interested will apply via our website. You can manage these applications online and hire one or more applicants with one-click ease.

    The second way in which you can hire freelancers is by contacting them directly. Simply browse our freelancer directories to view portfolios, read bios and reviews, and much more. Once you have located the freelancer you would like to hire, simply click the Contact/Hire Me button located on that freelancer's profile.

  • How do I attach files to my job?
    To attach files to your job, please follow the steps below:
    1. Navigate to My Account via the main menu: Me → My Account
    2. Navigate to the job list where your job is located: Active, Hired, Overdue, or Not Approved.
    3. Click on Your Job to open it.
    4. Click the Attach link on the job.
    5. Browse for a file and enter a description, then click the Save button.
  • How do I modify my job?
    To modify your job, please follow the steps below:
    1. Navigate to My Account via the main menu: Me → My Account
    2. Navigate to the job list where your job is located: Active, Hired, Overdue, or Not Approved.
    3. Click on Your Job to open it.
    4. Click the Modify link on the job.
    5. Make your changes and click the Save button.
  • How do I hire one or more applicants for my job?
    To hire one or more applicants, please follow the steps below:
    1. Navigate to My Account via the main menu: Me → My Account
    2. Navigate to the job list where your job is located: Active, Hired, or Overdue.
    3. Click on Your Job to open it.
    4. Locate the application of the freelancer you wish to hire and click the related Hire button.
  • How do I pay freelancers I've hired?
    Freelanced.com is designed to help you find and hire freelancers. Once you've done that, we move out of the way. We do not get involved in any transactions between members of our site.   • How do I end my job posting?
    To stop receiving new applications, you can end your job in the following ways:
    • Hire one or more applicants - Simply click the Hire button on the application of each freelancer you wish to hire.
    • End without hiring - Click the End link on your job to end the job without hiring anyone.

    Due to the overwhelming number of emails we receive daily, it is not possible for us to respond to all inquiries. All email will be read, but only messages related to billing can be guaranteed a response.

  • How do I hide/unhide messages?
    To hide/unhide messages, please follow the steps below:

    To hide messages:
    1. Navigate to My Account via the main menu: Me → My Account
    2. Click the Messages tab.
    3. Click the checkbox next to each message you want to hide.
    4. Click Hide Selected link above messages.
    5. Click OK when prompted to confirm that you want to hide the selected messages.

    To unhide messages:
    1. Navigate to My Account via the main menu: Me → My Account
    2. Click the Messages tab.
    3. Change Filter to Hidden to display your hidden messages.
    4. Click the checkbox next to each message you want to unhide.
    5. Click UnHide Selected link above messages.
    6. Click OK when prompted to confirm that you want to unhide the selected messages.
    7. Change Filter to any value *except* Hidden to redisplay your messages.
  • How do I cancel my account?

    Employers:
    To maintain the integrity of our system, accounts can only be removed by our support staff or by our administrative processes. Accounts that remain unused for an extended period of time will be automatically removed by our system. If you would like us to remove your account immediately, please send your cancellation request to from the email address associated with your Freelanced.com account.
