I am a lifelong avid reader of almost anything, and a third generation obsessive compulsive finder of anything that doesn't belong. I can't help finding the needle in the haystack. I am currently a student at an accredited university, and I frequently find typos in textbooks. To me, there is no excuse for incorrect spelling or bad grammar in printed work of that nature. I don't see how these books can go to the publisher with such obvious mistakes! I have always had an eye for noticing mistakes in written text, as far as spelling, grammar, and even inconsistencies in years and time periods. I also have a talent for phrasing ideas in a way that will serve to make a concept more interesting or understandable to the reader, should such help be needed.
