I'm Dave and I have spent thirty plus years in the advertising business. I was a radio announcer before that and still keep my hand in (or rather, my voice in) by doing commercials. I started in the ad business as a writer and it's still one of my favourite occupations and pastimes. I was president of Gordon Hill Advertising Western Ltd., the Western Office of a National Agency and formed my own company, Signal Marketing Services in the seventies. After 25 years of operating Signal, I took a full time position as General Manager of The Manitoba Electrical League Inc. I now operate my own business, Dave Foreman Consulting Services Ltd. (not a fancy name but it tells you what I do) from my home office in Burlington, Ontario. My business and life partner is my wife, Debbie.

Hi, I'm an Art Educator for Young Children and have a strong background in Japanese - English translation. I was born and raised in Tokyo. I moved to NY after graduating from a college in Tokyo and graduated from Long Island University, NY with a M.A. in art. My early translation career was in the financial field. I translated loan documents at Japanese banks in preparation for FRB audits. I also worked for Japanese venture capital and investment bank. Since my daughter was born (she is 7 yrs old now), I have been translating children's books from English to Japanese as well as Japanese to English. I am raising my child in both English and Japanese school environments, and very sensible about vocabularies appropriate for target ages of children. Also, I enjoy giving Story Art classes as well as making children picture books on my own.

Nick, Photographer and Visual Artist: I was born and raised on Long Island, New York. Hometown is Plainview and I lived there until I was 19 years old. I grew up loving art, making jewelry, playing with photography (had a small basement darkroom and a bunch of different cameras), writing creative song lyrics, and lifting rusty old weights in the basement. In December of 1979 I moved to California, lived there for a few months, and then joined the USAF (worked with and on Minuteman Missiles, 60 to 120 feet underground, and with nukes). While serving for about 7 years my creative side went essentially dormant. I became very technical and analytical, and dug into computers and aviation/aerospace, including commercial aviation, and I traveled world-wide. I spent 18 years in aviation/aerospace, also served as a volunteer firefighter, owned a small computer support and Web design company [Legacy Data Solutions (LDS), L.L.C. - also designed logos, brochures, business cards, all sorts of graphics, animation, and training videos], and later a personal training/life coaching business called Creative Common Sense, L.L.C. I finally started getting back into my creative roots with 2020 Visual Studios. I have literally gone from dark rooms and underground places to state-of-the-art digital photography and an above ground world of smiles, beautiful people, and beautiful places.
