I have undergraduate degrees in Hispanic Studies (Major)/Linguistics (Minor) and Education (Secondary Spanish and English), as well as a graduate (Masters) degree in Educational Technology. I work as an English and Modern Languages teacher, run a small business, and tutor Spanish privately. I have strong editing and writing skills, and I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I work professionally and efficiently, always striving for perfection. As I am currently hoping to expand my portfolio as a freelance proofreader and writer, my rate is negotiable, depending on the work, and no request is too small. I work from home; travel outside Vancouver Island is not an option. I am, however, proficient in the use of digital technology, and welcome any work that might require technical savvy. I look forward to helping you fulfill your proofreading and writing needs. Please do not hesitate to contact me for more information.

I am currently 'testing the waters' of online employment to determine its ability to financially support me on an extended trip overseas. (Basically, I am impatient and want to go now, despite having next to no savings!) My current position involves editing and proofreading reports for the Queensland Police Service for internal release. My most previous role required me to draft and submit legal correspondence on behalf of Queensland Police Service. I am intelligent, have a very good eye for detail and am very confident in my writing, editing and proofreading abilities. I am actively seeking proofreading assignments but am willing to consider any freelance project put to me.

Christopher McCall I've lived in the Cincinnati area most of my life, and I've always had a passion for the arts. In 2003 I was introduced to a new form of art, film making. I found out quickly that a career in the wedding business takes a lot of hard work and dedication. I continued to find other interests, not only in weddings; but also in other forms of video production. After working in a production studio for five years, I decided to attend an art college in 2007 to pursue a degree in Video Production. I enrolled at The Art Institute of Ohio-Cincinnati to take my art education to a new level. In 2009 I graduated with an Associates Degree in Video Production, this is where my new career began. After I graduated I was offered a part time position at a local TV station in North Dayton, Ohio shooting commercials, sport promos, bumpers and live sporting events. I continued to work there for about a year; but when the company went under in January of 2011, I went back to filming weddings to keep my strengths and knowledge of the industry fresh and new. In July I decided to take on something new that would show off my filming and editing style, so I got my chance to film two music videos and other freelance projects during the summer! It's hard to really say what kind of style I have as a film maker; but as for weddings, I think I've nailed it. I found that I mainly specialize in shooting and in post-production (editing, visual effects); but I find that working through the entire process strengthens my talents as a professional.
