OBJECTIVE: Pursue a career that enables me to practice and continue to learn my craft of painting, drawing and photography through experiences brought on by every day life. . QUALIFICATIONS Using my abilities learned and observed to portray a subject in the best possible way. My technique in drawing allows sharp, precise imagery, and my approach to painting offers vibrant colors and deeper levels to a subject. Using darkroom and studio techniques, along with the desire to create a dramatic atmosphere in my photography, builds on the creativity that drives my art. The opportunities to teach both drawing and photography classes, as well as tutor students in painting, drawing and photography classes, have better honed my abilities in each area. I have taught art courses every year since 2001, including private lessons. With such tasks as matting, canvas stretching, etc. I am able to present my work or others’ work with a more hands-on approach, rather than paying others to do the work. I am currently in collaberation with a writer in creating a graphic novel, which involves storyboard format. I have also worked in cartooning since I was a child, and constantly drawing the characters that have inspired me. As a freelance paralegal, I work as an independent contractor providing substantive legal support as needed. Depending on your needs, I can provide paralegal support services one time, occasionally, or on a regular basis. The substantive legal work I can do for you is limited only by the Rules of Professional Conduct, which prevent me from accepting a case, setting a fee, taking depositions, and giving legal advice. Those responsibilities aside, I can take care of all of your Domestic matters, including all documentation and procedural requirements for actions including, but not limited to, Divorce, Custody, Support, and Adoption.

I am an artist, but I draw better with a mouse or my finger than with pen and paper. I have been drawing since before I could remember. In 1995, I learned hand drafting then how to be a technician using AutoCAD. By 1996, I was a professional drafter. I then attended the University of Houston Architectural program for two years from 1997-1999. At which time I changed to interior design, so that I could focus on fabric and furniture design. In the process of my change of major I took graphic design courses and fell in love with them. I have minors in art history, graphic arts, fabric arts, and English between my two bachelor’s degrees. I gained an even deeper understanding of people and understanding client needs in my interior design practice. I worked freelance as a graphic designer for a few years, just creating a logo or signage as needed to make extra money. In 2010, I had the opportunity to become a full-time professional graphic designer for Cathedral in the Pines. Staying relevant, cutting edge, and creative is the most important part of any artist position like graphic and interior design.

Just t ell me what you want, what you really REALLY want—and WHEN you want it. I create print material and websites that reach a company's target audience in a timely and effective manner, without the cost or over-the-top designs you find at an agency. I can create or maintain an existing site, create or update print material as needed, and work with you to fill your need, whether it is a once-and-done or ongoing project. I work with all Adobe products, from print to web to multi-media and video. For the small to mid-size business that cannot afford a full-tie dedicated staff, or the fees associated with hiring an agency, and whose print and web material does not need to be museum-quality, that gets the message to the target audience, I can deliver in a timely and effective manner at a fraction of the cost!
