Hello and welcome! I am glad you stopped by to have a look at my work. My name is Robin Duehring, I am a graphic artist, digital artist, photographer and website designer in Greensboro North Carolina. I was born in New York. My family moved to Cary N.C. when I was just a baby. I have been working professionally as a graphic artist, digital artist, photographer, website designer and all around keyboard jockey & web geek for over 20 years. I serve clients locally and around the globe. Over the course of my career I have served many hundreds of clients from the small business owner to fortune 100 companies. I have a deep passion for my work and no matter the size or cost of the project, I approach each piece with complete dedication, attention to detail with excellent communication and feedback with each client I serve. To be commissioned by anyone is an honor and I treat each client with the respect they deserve and always strive to deliver exceptional work at very competitive prices. Background: My artistic and tech career began when I was just a little girl. My mother was an art teacher and my father was an engineer for IBM, he worked on such projects as the supermarket scanner, the first color monitor and he did work for NASA. I am a hybrid of them both. As soon as I could hold a brush, a stick of charcoal, I was creating art. I would play with almost anything my mom had laying around her studio. I also held a keen interest in the strange objects my father would bring home from work or had in his workshop. As a young girl and as I grew older, even up until my father's death in 2011, I have learned to fix all manner of electronic equipment and computers. I was even was lucky enough to have one of the very first portable computers (the IBM XT - it had a 20MB hard drive, a 9" CRT amber screen, a flip down keyboard, an Intel 8088 4.77 MHz processor, 512 kB ram, two 5¼" 360kB floppies with DOS 2.10). By the early 90's I was building and fixing my own computers. My first foray onto the internet was through the ISP prodigy, it was at this point my life changed dramatically. When I got my first copy of Photoshop an intense love affair with graphic design was born. I learned to program HTML with notepad at first then I moved on to web weaver and then finally Dreamweaver, which I continue to use today. At this point the internet was the wild, wild west and there were no course classes in college teaching website design or Photoshop. I am self taught and I strive to learn new techniques all the time. I have an instinctive propensity towards the written form of expressing thoughts, emotions, and opinions with an eye for syntax. I am flexible with respect to the end result desired by prospective clients and am able to adjust the tenor of the text to lean more towards either an academic or creative slant. I give careful consideration to thought-flow and am able to give constructive insight when required. I believe in the power of words and in utilizing such potential for meaningful expression through the careful use of words.

I am a highly motivated and passionate individual with much experience in producing, writing, and editing short videos for international publication through both DVD and download format. From 2011- 2013 I was a Videographer and Multimedia Producer for the Charity Orgnaisation ‘Operation Mobilisation’, traveling nine countries around Asia and the Arabian Peninsula on a ship named ‘MV Logos Hope’. The vision of the organisation was to bring practical aid and educational resources worldwide. As Videographer my main responsibilities were producing, directing and editing promotional and documentary videos with relevant updated news and stories of the organisation. This role required the extensive use of Final Cut Pro X, Motion 5, Soundtrack Pro and DVD Studio Pro. My work as editor and producer needed to remain creative and innovative to raise international awareness and support of the charity. As part of the Multimedia role, I was responsible for editing and producing television advertisements in multiple languages and adapting for upcoming events and promotions, as well as organising and managing data, video raids, and thousands of raw footage files stored on OS X Mountain Lion Macs. As a part time position I held the role of Media Relations Officer alongside my duties as Videographer, requiring me to be flexible and able to spontaneously host international broadcasters and journalists, accommodating their requests. The organisation drew much media attention and my role included advertising, hosting interviews, and building relationships and contacts with various media agencies in television, radio, magazine, and newspaper sectors. Additionally, I was responsible for monthly media statistics and reports sent to international Senior Directors and marketing managers. Previous to my work with Operation Mobilisation I worked in Starbucks for four years, developing to Store Manager and held responsibilities such as partner development and recruitment, monitoring store sales and targets, maintaining quality customer services and managing all store maintenance and repair. The job required high levels of multi-tasking, decision making, and composure in communication while managing complex customer and partner relations.
