my alternate website: www.thorntoncreations.com www.tiffzcreations.com (new site) Hello to All. My name is Tiffany Thornton. I am a writer, illustrator and former educator, not to mention, the mother of five children aged 3-20. I was fortunate enough to have grown up in a family composed primarily of artists, writers and musicians; so the love of art comes naturally. Luckily, I was genetically blessed with this gift of creativity as well. I have been drawing, painting murals, designing t-shirts and illustrating, professionally, since 1988. Currently, I am completing the final illustrations for my children’s book entitled, Twice Blessed. I have a wide array of artistic talents, and tend to work using a combination of various tools. For example, I am the most skilled at customized animal and portrait illustrations, and do most of my first drafts in colored pencil; but, I can also take any illustration I have done and put it into graphic/computer generated format. I also love watercolors, all Prisma tools and hand-drawn, pencil illustrations (or pen and ink). I guess I can honestly say, I like to combine different techniques and can create pretty much anything if given the opportunity. Also, I have this internal drive which renders me incapable of settling for anything other than my absolute best. Although this often makes my family crazy and keeps me awake many nights; it results in exemplary work that both the client and I can be proud of. Nothing gives me more pleasure, in my creative life, than to produce something for someone else. It gives both meaning and purpose to this destiny of mine, which is completely built upon a foundation of creative and artistic passion. Please see my resume below: 1.
