Beginning his career at age 9 and becoming one of ASCAPS’s youngest members by 15, singer/songwriter/producer/entrepreneur Morgan Brown is no stranger to pop music and the music industry at large. Morgan was born June 5th, 1992 in Santa Monica California. Son of marketing extraordinaire Allan Brown (Got Milk, Beanie Babies, McDonalds Happy Meal) and Kelly Brown a fashion industry veteran (The California Mart) and co-founder of celebrity spa hotspot l.a. Vie L’orange. At a very young age Morgan knew he wanted to be in the entertainment industry. Morgan was then given his first guitar by family friend Jeffery Stein an award winning music video director (Billy Idol, The Cars and Tom Petty). During his first recital he garnered attention from Burt Bacharach, who was amazed at the “incredible talent in this little kid”. By age 11, Morgan was flying to Louisiana at the request of Master P’s “Beats By The Pound” producer Carlos Stephens. Morgan began production on his record with Carlos Stephens and started to co-write songs with Stephens and his team of writers and producers. In 2005, Morgan began working with Rap/Rock group Fuyzion NDX, and started collaborating with former Method’s of Mayhem lead singer TiLo. He then was approached to be featured artist on Rock N’ Write, an educational program where major artists presented songs and lesson plans to encourage and promote reading and writing through music in public schools throughout the United States. Even though artists such as Nick Lachey and Cheyanne Kimball were on the program, Morgan’s song, “I’m Just Me,” was the most downloaded song for three consecutive months, receiving over 10,000 downloads. Later that year, Morgan began working with Ron Nevison (Heart, Ozzy Osbourne, Kiss) and Kim Bullard (Poco) on a project for the Lohan family writing a song entitled “The Promise”, which was to be the theme song for their reality show, but never aired due to family matters. Later that year, Morgan began studying with celebrity vocal coach Eric Vetro whom took Morgan to a new level of vocal ability. In late 2006, Morgan started collaborating on a solo album project with super producer/songwriter, Andreas Carlsson (Bon Jovi, Celine Dion, N’Sync, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Katy Perry) and his team in Sweden. Then in early 2007, Morgan was asked to become the lead singer and songwriter for the rock band Her Alibye. While in Her Alibye, Morgan appeared on the 2007 Vans “Warped Tour,” and played venues such as The House of Blues, The Whiskey, and The Viper Room. Morgan left the band to pursue other interests and got right back to the studio to resume songwriting and continue to build his production house, B-Star music. In 2008 Morgan co founded Pickup Music with classmate Gabe Kanengiser. Pickup music managed, produced, developed, and booked shows for young talent all over Los Angeles. They worked with legendary Hollywood venues such as The Whisky A Go-Go, Troubadour and The Knitting Factory. Pickup Music worked to assist in the development of a young artist’s talent and journey as a performer; the goal was to breed pop music stars. The two ran the company with a team of young professionals all under the age of 19, all experienced in many areas of the industry. While running Pickup Music the team was approached by a Los Angeles production company to film a reality show unveiling the lives of these young entrepreneurs. In 2010 Morgan, resigned from Pickup Music to join forces with Grammy nominated songwriter Ace Young (Daughtry, American Idol) and brother, Ryan Young. He worked on several projects with their production company Hi Energy Entertainment. In 2011 Morgan began to work with Mahvrick Networks on internet based music content marketing projects as well as joining 1DGS LLC, working on brand management for high profile clients such as, Jake Brown (XGAMES) and Street Bike Tommy (NITRO CIRCUS). Later on the same year he joined forces with Lucas Spry to form his fourth music production company start up ‘The Loft Music.’ Some of the most respected songwriters and producers have labeled Morgan, “A young writer, and music industry visionary years beyond his time”.

My work is mostly intuitive and expressive, often dreamy and surreal. I try to amalgamate a real life experiences, dreams and visions into the photographs and leave an emotional message for the others to feel. or not to feel. I use Canon cameras (1000D, 60D). I prefer natural light in combination with exteriors and interiors, but also I use my studio kit - 4200 watts Continuous Lighting set (3 x soft box with 7 lamps in each) in combination with black and white background. Also I use Adobe photoshop CS4 for improving my photo images by changing background. I am open to all tfp and tfcd shoots and always up for some new experiments. I love all creative techniques created by using different lenses 18-55mm, 70-300mm, 50mm. Also I was always impressed by using studio lights, reflection boards and all types of filters.
