Recently graduated from studying Illustration BA at Falmouth University, Southwest England. Working traditionally with a variety of media, I produce detailed aesthetically pleasing imagery. I am particularly fascinated with the effects of light and colour, taking great pleasure experimenting with texture and surface manipulation. My work often follows one of two key techniques; Soft pastels, building up layers and detail or textile. Previous experience as a seamstress has resulted in a style constructed with a mixed media collage combined with an applique style stitch. I occasionally like to tip toe across to ink or paint, creating or adjusting garments and have recently rediscovered a passion for woodwork. Confidently throwing myself into new concoctions of media. I love to explore and am a keen photographer, using this imagery for reference. I'm greatly inspired by all things wild, natural patterns, textures and colours. Passionate to promote biodiversity, the plight of threatened and endangered species and the importance of conservation and environmental awareness; wildlife being a key theme throughout and the cause I wish to aid.
