William Benton (aka Cat Casual) is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist originally from the panhandle of Oklahoma. He has played and toured with bands for nearly half of his life, playing both guitar and bass in various bands and projects. In recent years he has collaborated with the likes of Bonnie “Prince” Billy, Makoto Kawabata (Acid Mothers Temple), and many others as well as sharing the stage with many legendary performers of the past and present. William spent 14 years in Louisville, Kentucky, where he carved a unique legacy as an uncompromising songwriter and highly creative, energetic live performer. Bands as diverse as Bodyhammer, Tyrone, and Lucky Pineapple tapped into nearly every musical style, funneling them into an indie-punk-art rock format to the delight of Louisville showgoers and music fans. William curated the never released Burn to Shine 4, the Louisville installment of the Brendan Canty (Fugazi) released DVD series which featured local bands of a given city performing live in a doomed structure. (Performers included Shipping News, Bonnie “Prince” Billy, Parlour, Majik Markers, Lucky Pineapple, Liberation Prophecy, and many others.) William would go on to enlist in The Phantom Family Halo (Knitting Factory Records) while in Louisville- which would relocate him to Brooklyn, New York- to tour and record bass and lead guitar on two full-lengths and an EP collaboration with Bonnie “Prince” Billy. William left the band in the fall of 2012. Currently, he is handling bass and guitar duties with Shilpa Ray, recently finishing both an EP and a full-length. He is also grooming his solo band for live shows in the near future. William currently resides in Ridgewood, Queens, with his girlfriend. He is looking for a practice place and a rescued cat. He is also a regular contributor to Insider Louisville, often detailing his life and times as an Okie in New York.

My name is Rachel but everyone calls me Raych. I'm a 28 year old wife and doggy mom living in Manhattan on the hunt for my dream job. I graduated with a degree in Economics in 2007 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I love blogging, thrift store shopping, arranging and rearranging my house and hanging with my husband, Tyler. Even though I'm a lover of all things Economics, my ambition is to be a writer. I started my blog, Marriage by Design, in 2007 and I love writing about everything from the oil field (Tyler's industry) to furniture restoration to fashion. My other passion is social media. If I'm not blogging, I'm on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest. I love connecting with people and social media is my favorite way to achieve that.

Speaking about comics, I've been the main artist for various webcomics (Swan Song, High School Heroes, Aeternus, MOB) and smaller comics, both for entertainment and for business purposes. Hi there. My name is Derrick Smith. I am a freelance comic book artist in New York City, NY and a graduate of the American Academy of Art with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration. I chose to study Illustration to learn the process of being a comic book artist. I enjoy drawing and painting as well as creating my own comic books. Designing characters, choosing a direction for my storyline, and perfecting each scene are only a few reasons I love creating comic books. When I produce my own comic books, I tend to concentrate on setting up my characters in dark but stoic poses, just like one of my favorite comic book artists. My favorite artists have all provided me with much inspiration, especially with the representation of their characters - main, supporting, and minor. This inspiration has led me to be able to create better and more interesting comics with improved perspective and positioning skills. Art has been a passion of mine since I was a little kid, and I decided during high school I wanted to learn how to make a career out of it. I hope you enjoy what you see on my site; I know I delighted in every moment of creation, and I hope to create many more such pieces during my lifetime for the viewing pleasure of the great multitude of art loving people in the world such as myself.
