I'm orginal and i try my best to write from a real place, i figure if it dosent make sense to you it wont make sense to anyone, I tend to write till i get it, which means i could be on a song for a couple day getting it perfect. Matter of oppinion i am young but i do beleive my song writing is unquie and rare. Its sassy with humor, or deep and emotional. I come from life experinces that help me figure out the right things to say to voice my thoughts out on page. Never done anything like this but i know i have more then what it takes.

My art is the result of my passion for drawing, love of animation and exposure to computer science, all of which heavily influenced my subject matter and the development process of my illustrations. Often the subjects I approach are translated into an image influenced by animations, video games and fond childhood memories. Depictions of dystopian futures and unrealistic human feats are some of the ways I approach conveying a broader idea. My art is subtle and unexpected in communicating themes. My illustrations merge both traditional and digital art form to create the final image. The use of traditional mediums serves as a distinct visual element to convey the thought process involved in the construction of the composition. Digital coloring is applied to merge the two styles using color schemes that complement the imagery. The finished piece is bright with distinct color schemes in order to develop an interesting image that challenges the viewer to engage and understand the meaning behind the illustration.

A demanding job, but very educational. 12-hour days were the norm. I planned layouts, covers and important ads with the publisher, then mocked up the book for each month, planned where information went according to the size of press releases we received. Worked with feature writers to determine needed graphics. Managed two assistants, trained an editor or two since the turn-over was high. The magazine purchased two IBM computers and a modem, where all editorial information was entered. I worked with our local typesetter to create a simplified code so we could "transmit" it via the modem, which linked to their Compugraphic Typsetting computer. This resulted in formatted photographic type, and saved a lot of time and money for the magazine. Education St. Louis Community College Commercial Art 1983 – 1983
