I am English but have been living & working in Johannesburg, South Africa since 1982. I am a graphic designer, illustrator and fine artist; 20 years' experience with Apple systems, the last 17 years of which have been spent as a senior graphic designer with Standard Bank South Africa. I have xtensive experience in print design, all below-the-line design handled from concept to print ready, plus advertising and related elements. In addition I have completed a considerable qualtitiy of banner etc design for web. In addition I handle logo and corporate identity, newsletters, t-shirt design, posters, signage etc., plus commissions for pet & wildlife portraiture and book editing and illustration undertaken. Over this last year I have done several series of children's book illustrations and am now working digitally as well as manually. I am able to draw pretty much anything, but am most inspired by the nature and animals. I can work in most media, from pen & ink, sketches to detailed watercolours.. and with Photoshop and a digital pad & pen I now enjoy creating artwork which is easily revisable and suitable for illustration work. For the past year I have been freelancing from my studio at home. I have built up an international client base including clients from Australia, Spain, UK and Canada as well as locally in South Africa.
