I was a founding member of the group on interoperability and Chair of the Committee on Earth Observations Portals. Searching and gathering up a list of 175 portals (websites). I analyzed portals, I selected good models, I presented my chairperson’s reports to the group leader. In addition, I served as minute-taker for scientific meetings. The project was begun in July 2005. It is a humanitarian based effort (references available). Volunteer time contributed: 300 hours. Report on Earth Observations Portals was authored by my colleagues and, me, based on my research of 300 hours. IEEE INFORMATION REUSE & INTEGRATION CONFERENCE TECHNICAL/SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH 2007-2013 – I Served on the Technical Program Committee as Reviewer of Technical Papers (2007-13).
