I am a stay at home mom and a hobby photographer. I discovered that I have a talent for photography that goes along with the passion and I want, very badly, to start getting paid for it. I have sold several prints locally but would like to expand. I do mostly nature or community shots. I do editing but I am not a fan of over-editing, I think it looks better when you can see the real shot without taking away the integrity of the photo. :)

My name is Richard T. Murphy, "Murph". I am a Professional Screenwriter and have worked in Film, TV & Animation and a Member of The Writer’s Guild of America. I’ve had Experience in Hollywood as well as the Independent Film World and Europe. My Writing Life Adventures have taken me around the block more than a few times. I’ve seen the Good, the Bad and yes...even the Ugly. I’ve Written for Fox, Disney, HBO, Dark Horse, Universal, Cartoon Network, New World Pictures, Sony-Tri Star, Vestron and more. Including The Beatles. I'm an NYU Dramatic Writing Program Masters Graduate (selling my first few Scripts to Hollywood while still there). NYU was a great time in My Life . I was fortunate to be Taught and Mentored by Academy Award Winning Screenwriter Waldo Salt (Midnight Cowboy, Coming Home, Serpico, Day of The Locust). I became Friends with Waldo who in my humble opinion is probably one of the greatest American Screenwriters in the History of Film. My NYU years also were responsible for Mentor Relationships with two other Academy Award Screenwriters – Ring Lardner Jr. (Woman Of The Year, MASH) and Ian Hunter (Roman Holiday). All pretty heady stuff for a Young Writer. One Relationship that I cherish and still have to this day is with Lorenzo Semple Jr. (Papillion, Three Days Of The Condor, King Kong, Batman on TV). He is such a Great Screenwriter and a very cool and unique Character. Lorenzo’s style and mantra is that in Movies, Commercial is not a Dirty Word. I am known in Hollywood as a Creative, Left-of- Center, Eccentric and Good Character Writer. My work usually has plenty of Heart & Humor. Specializing in The Human Comedy that is a bit eclectic, offbeat and usually History based. Much of My Work comes from a True Moment in Time that is usually Stranger-than-Fiction. A perfect example of this is a Screenplay I co-wrote with famous Action Movie Writer/ Ex Navy Seal , Chuck Pfarrer. THE CROOK FACTORY is a rollicking, crazy, fun, Action/Adventure/Dramatic Comedy about Ernest Hemingway’s time in Cuba during WW 2, chasing Nazi U-Boats. It has been called The Most Xeroxed Script in Hollywood. I have written a number of Screenplays, which have been Sold/Optioned/Developed. Screenwriting is a tough game, a strange mix of Creativity and Craft. It is not something for the Faint of Heart but when it goes right and You create something Truly Special, Original and Unique, there is nothing like it. At this Writing, I have just finished an Offbeat, Adventure, Crazy Anti -Romantic Comedy –LOVE ON THE ROCKS that is just starting to Make The Rounds. It’s been Read favorably by Hugh Jackman, Julianne Moore and Sandra Bullock but I’m Guardedly Optimistic as always. I've developed a number of TV Shows, one of which - HOUDINI & DOYLE (think The Original, Victorian, CSI) was optioned by Sony Tri-Star and Industry Entertainment and nearly set up at CBS. It is one of those Projects, that there is always interest in, this time from a Studio in Luxembourg as well as a Production Company in London. I‘ve Written for The HBO Series, TALES FROM THE CRYPT as well as writing a Movie which was shot for Hollywood Legend, Roger Corman. Beyond all the Live Action, I have done a bit of Animation Writing - most notably THE REAL ADVENTURES OF JOHNNY QUEST for Hanna-Barbera and The Cartoon Network. I've also worked on several other less prestigious Animated Shows, many of which were based in Europe. I've also done a great deal of Rock & Roll Writing for Bands such as The Who, The Beatles Official Website, KISS, The Woodstock Brand and more. A List of Available Movie & TV Projects will be provided by request. All Projects are Registered with The Writer’s Guild of America and Highly protected by My Two Entertainment Attorneys – Robert Eatman and James T. Lee – both of Los Angeles, California. I look forward to Hearing from You. Thanks. Richard T. Murphy “Murph”

I have loved art my entire life, and have recently decided to throw myself into the artistic career path. I'm looking for odd jobs to build up my portfolio for my art school I plan to attend sometime soon. I do comics, storyboarding, anime/manga style, western cartoon style, I can draw animals and people, and I'm working on landscapes. I also write; short stories, novellas, full length novels. I prefer fiction, particularly fantasy.
