A writer has always existed within me. As a child I used to write very elaborate short stories. My mother always told me I had 'such an imagination!' She used to hang my stories on the fridge. They would remain on there so long the edges would curl. I figured out in my teen years that my imagination became a doorway to some great writing. A long time dream I had was becoming a writer. Instead of choosing my dream, for fear of incredible failure, I settled with my second choice. College was a great lesson in life. Without anyone holding your hand and pulling you forward motivation had to come from within. I graduated with an Applied Sciences degree in Horticulture. I have no regrets for choosing the alternate route but I would like a shot at chasing a dream. Everyone has to start at the bottom in every industry and that is exactly where I am starting.

Hi! I'm Kristin Frenzel and I am a Fort Lauderdale artist. I usually work with traditional media; pencil, ink and paint but I also have done a few graphic art jobs as well. I really enjoy exploring pop culture and doing fun projects involving just about everything you can imagine! If it involves dinosaurs I am SO there! I've worked on an independent comic book, done artwork for the International Museum of Cartoon Art, working on illustrating a children's book, done graphic art for an up and coming game/communication company and built a life sized animatronic creeper from Minecraft. I am motivated, professional and driven! I know I will have a lot of growing to do in my art but we all do, that is why I love this so much. Constantly pushing myself to be better, while having fun doing it!
