I am 18 years old and my favorite things to do are paint and draw. I wouldn't say I'm an expert but I would say I am amazing at it when I try, which is basically always. I'll sometimes come up with an idea to draw and other times draw things right in front of me. I paint still life, landscape, pretty much anything and pretty much draw anything too because I love it.

The Art of Riana Lombaard After matriculating with Art as a subject in 1968, Riana pursued her love of art in her tertiary studies. She chose to specialise in the teaching of Art as a school subject and developed a special flair to interpret children’s art as an educational tool. She deems herself fortunate to have taught all age groups during her 25 year teaching career – from Grade 1 right up to university level. Being a teacher, married and the mother of two daughters left no time to practice art on a full-time basis. However, she remained involved within the world of art and often sketched, designed and painted, even though much of it was for the cover of athletics, rugby and netball programmes, matric farewells, décor and choir performances … to mention a few. Every day was filled with gloriously hectic challenges which enriched her with wonderful experiences and remembrances she would not trade for the world. But … there is a time for everything. With her two daughters both happily married and her teaching career concluded the time has arrived … for more art! Riana believes few have ever come close to capturing the human face in oil on canvas. She considers her art to be classic realist and greatly admires the works of the masters and impressionists. She primarily works in oil on canvas and her subject matter is portraiture, although pencil sketching is another favourite art form of Riana's. Riana is known for being a versatile artist. She has completed many art works on commission since she started her artistic career. Riana currently works from her studio in Silver Lakes, Pretoria. I am popular in the name 'AKHIL THOMAS'. As I am interested to think out of the box to develop something, my fellas started calling me a creative bot. After a while, I fell in love with photography. Later on, I realised that I am viewing the world as frames. It was amazing for me when I was introduced to photoshop. I was thrilled to explore other applications of Adobe package. Now I am just addicted. This is killing me, its becoming part of my life. One afternoon, a smart chap turn up and showed me the tricks to market my designs. Now, I got a well equipped studio to hunt in the virtual space.
