Christina’s the Amazing Artist- Bibolography My name is Christina Long, I was born (1989) in a city called Los Angeles California. I still remember exactly how my interest in drawing and painting was born. When I was about in the age of 18, I first discover myself as artist when I was drawing self portraits of my things I seen around the house. Between some old stuff I found my old sketch portfolio that I did in high school. It showed stuff that I did from stick figures to my amazing artwork that I did when I got really professional with my amazing art piece. I enter this art contest for Maxine Waters’s art competition and I won first place in her district in California. My first art piece was Martin Luther King it was done in mixed media. I started this first drawing when I was in high school in the year of 2007. But my masterpiece, in a matter of way it impressed me. I studied the scene different artwork history and get to know more about a lot of the artists. Up until that moment I was sent two tickets to fly out to Maxine Water’s district office in Washington, Dc for the ceremony with others artist across the globe from different high school. Later when I came in the living room I asked my parents about the painting and drawing. My father liked my first drawing that I won in the art contest. He told me to continue to developed different styles of your work and I did. This is how I became a professional artist. I never realized it but this must have been the moment that my creative mind was triggered. Nowadays my passion for art and music takes a different place in my life. This was the moment I picked up drawing again. I started with drawing celebrities’ portraits, abstracts and landscapes. It lasted to the summer of 2007 before I gave it a shot. I decided to start with a portrait of transparent abstract portrait of shapes. I liked the result and decided doing more and more. I’m currently taking a 2 dimensional design class right now at West La College and next semester I’m taking a 3 dimensional design class to get my AA degree this year in 2012. My goals are to get a job in art as an artist and continuing my education for art so I can get Masters Degree in arts. If you are interested in one of these paintings I would be pleased hearing from you. Would you like to have your, your partner or children’s portrait painted, or you are looking for a unique present, perhaps I can help you.

I recently took the position of manager of Turtle Beach Resort and Inn, Siesta Key, Fl. I would like to pitch a travel story angles editors and writers. We have 2 properties, one on Sarasota Bay and the other on a lagoon overlooking Turtle Beach. We are waterfront with lush tropical grounds and the best sunsets on the island. Siesta Key is a destination for the pristine waters and the many uninhabited islands designated as natural habitats for wildlife. There are more than 220 species for birdwatchers to scope out: pelicans, osprey, herons, egrets, sanderlings and eagles are among them. May through October is sea turtle nesting season and Sarasota County boasts the largest loggerhead nesting rookery on Florida's west coast. Other species that nest along the Gulf Coast include green sea turtles and, occasionally, Kemp's Ridley's. The waters here are teeming with fish, dolphins and manatees. The Resort is a boutique hotel with 20 cottages and studio units. We are pet and boater friendly as we have docks located at mile marker #48 on the intercoastal waterway . We host many Honeymooners and many actual travel here for destination weddings and get married right on the property. Each cottage has a private patio with private hot tub, hammock, and kitchenettes. Guests have access to kayaks, canoes, bicycles, fishing gear, 2 heated pools and guest laundry. We have 3 restaurants in walking distance from the hotel and we are steps to Turtle Beach. We were recently featured in Southern Living, The Boston Globe and the NY Times Travel Guide. Siesta Key was recent;y named #1 beach in America by Dr. Beach. We would love to extend an invitation for writers and editors to come visit our resort and share their experiences with their readers. I look forward to hearing from you. I am an experienced illustrator, artist and jewellery maker, as well as having experience in writing short stories, songs, poems and fashion design. I am an ideas person with a great imagination, equalling in me being a very good designer. I work in traditional mediums, pen and ink, acrylic, oils, watercolours etc and am looking into learning graphic design. I do a little digital art work already with apps on the iPad. My style is usually based around the themes of fantasy, comics, geekery, colour, ethnic art, and fan art, and is inspired by nature, animals, the sea, the sky, films and music, myths and legends, and spirituality among other things. I have been creating and designing my whole life. It is what i am most passionate about. I currently sell my handmade jewellery online and at craft fairs and jewellery parties, and am developing a range of prints of my own original illustrations and greetings cards based on them which shall be available to buy soon. I am working on building on the illustration side of my business where I will be creating bespoke personalised and fantasy style, people, pet, and children's toy portraits. I already have much art work in a similar vein. I also work with various other crafts making general gifts. I have been recently creating some 3D decoupage greetings cards and framed art, and have been spending more time on my oil and acrylic paintings, I am hoping to have my first exhibition this year. My jewellery is mostly gemstone themed, and I am working on building my skills in silversmithing, of which I completed a course in. I spend my spare time creating and designing in these areas, as well as spending a lot of time designing original tattoos, which I love to do and feel I'm very good at. I am looking for freelance work creating art for other people's projects, with the aim of helping others while getting my work out there and gaining experience. I love to design and create so am happy to work on any project. It has also been a dream of mine to illustrate children's books, but I'm happy to illustrate anything. I have illustrated my own little cartoon book which I hope to get published. I will complete all and any projects to the client's exact specification, though I can add my own flare or help with creating an idea if you so wish. I will work to the best of my abilities to to compete the task for you, I love being creative so I'm very happy to do the work and finish it on time. I'm also keen to try anything new, so I'm happy to work on projects other than art and design, if you think I am a good fit. Thanks for reading! I look forward to working with you.

If you have an art collection - large, small, world-class or hobby - that requires proper inventorying, whether for insurance purposes or your own peace of mind, I am the person for the job. Three levels of detail. Database complete with as much information as you choose to include. Due to the nature of the beast I will deal only with persons whose collections are verifiable and the condition of which can be ascertained through visual inspection. South-western Ontario (Toronto-Kitchener-London). (Farther points considered if you wish to pay transportation and per diem.) I am a long-term art collector.

I'm a designer/illustrator/animator with 20 years experience. For the last four years, I've been the assistant director on the PBS Tv show 'The Cat in the Hat knows a lot about that!' with responsibilities from design checking and fixing (backgrounds and character) to ensure the style of the locations and new characters worked in the Seussian universe, overseeing the storyboarding and reviewing the animation as it came in. I've designed children's tv shows for the BBC and storyboarded for high profile shows such as 'Tiny Planets', 'Fireman Sam' and '3rd and Bird', as well as working as a concept artist for game shows. This has taught me a great deal about staging, composition and compelling storytelling through images. I've learned a huge range of design styles, and can give you artwork that is highly realistic or hyper cartoony. With any style, I'll give you the best choices possible. Please take a look at my folio - which is only a small sample of the work I've done. I'm a dedicated worker who will do all in his power to meet and hopefully even surpass expectations to make your project shine. Thanks for reading.
