I am a digital illustrator capable of working in realistic or whimsical styles. To be a good artist, I believe the artist must be able to reproduce good art by hand first. I spent the early part of my art career creating paintings and airbrushed illustrations, Because of my knowledge of painting and drawing techniques, the transition to digital art was quite easy. Ideally, if the job requires a...

I’m the perfect artist for you! I'll be there in a flash and get it done even faster! (...with superb quality in every piece!) I travel the U.S. and I ship abroad. With 20+ years of pro mural/artwork experience with home & commercial, I take great pride and am extremely dedicated to the form & detail of what I do for each project, whether it be murals, portraits, comic art or T-shirt and poster designs. Client discretion is EXTREMELY important to me, as I work with major chains, ambassadors, Grammy-award-winners, etc., respecting all necessary privacies/boundaries. I price by the job, based on the image concept/style, size, height from ground, surface type, indoor/outdoor and a few pics of area to be painted. Once I gather this info from you, then I can send an exact estimate. I require a 50% retainer/supply deposit to guarantee work dates, and then the remaining balance is due directly upon completion of the work, on site. And I do take credit/debit payments through the secure PayPal network, Money Order or cash when on site. You may view some of my pieces here at www.freelanced.com/corialsbrooks. However, I am creating new projects daily and have even more items to update! I have a BFA in Graphic Design & Professional Writing, and I retain my HQ teaching certificate in the arts. I’ve been trained privately in art since age 5, and I exhibit annually in shows such as S.D. Int’l Comic-Con, as we run/coordinate a pop culture convention, The Geek Gathering (www.thegeekgathering.net). Feel free to email me or text/call me anytime at 256-412-9414. I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully partnering with you on your project. New, updated website coming soon!

I've been an artist for about as long as I can remember, but that doesn't mean I'm one-dimensional! Since elementary school I've changed my mind plenty of times- I've studied orchestral performance and had jobs in retail and healthcare, but my primary goal has always been illustration. Currently I'm working as a Giclée and Latex printing specialist and Digital Assets Manager for a Whole Sale Art Company while improving my artistic skills in my spare time with various freelance illustration jobs. I originally went to Stetson University studying Fine Art. In the fall of 2014, I was planning return to college to study Visual Communication at Cornish College of the Arts, but Art degrees are priced as a luxury. So, let's see how becoming an illustrator goes on my own!! I am hardworking, motivated, organized and punctual.

Hello, I have a Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I teach Humanities (western culture in history through: music, theatre, art, philosophy, and religion) classes at several community colleges in Virginia and North Carolina for my typical "Bread and Butter". For fun, my husband (guitarist) and I write songs and perform christian, folk, and semi-eclectic, half-classical story songs in multiple genres. I have held wonderfully creative jobs such as a professional, dramatic storyteller, an opera singer, musical theatre director, data entry, word processor for Technical Manuals for the US Navy, and a children's librarian. I love stories that end well, but not in an expected way. I am drawn to elements of magic, romance, touches of the paranormal, and self-discovery adventures. I believe art should inspire, teach personal responsibility, joy, and sometimes frighten - warn of consequences that arise from decisions made without thought for the "good of all". Whether the lesson is couched in a far-off fantasy land or another dimension, I will usually acknowledge a higher power (God) in my writing, but my characters and I also know how difficult it can be to do the right thing - even when we want to... So, we work it out together. Sometimes the stories write themselves, so I can't always anticipate exactly what might happen... I create fantastic obstacles and rollicking adventures because I think life - this ordinary, everyday, get-up-in-morning-every-day-and-go-to-work life is made up of real "magical moments" if we can keep our priorities straight, do what we have to, but also remember to appreciate our own mysterious life-journey. If my skills are requested, I'd appreciate information about the target audience and reading level restrictions (if any). Thank You! Blessings to you and yours. Renee H
