I started drawing at a very young age, and aside from normal high school art courses, am completely self-taught. I do mostly pencil sketches, but do paint the occasional mural, truck tailgate, canvas painting and I even dabble in graphic design. My favourite pieces usually include animals, and I am an avid amateur photographer as well. I have one photo already published by the International Library of Photography in their annual anthology called "Visions of the Soul". I do commissioned pieces, as well as random ideas that come to mind. I've done some tattoo flash, as well as custom designs, and will be starting my tattoo apprenticeship later this year. I have been accepted into the Shaw Festival and other juried art shows in the Niagara Region in previous years for my original work. It's been awhile since I've been serious in the local art scene. People here just don't want to pay for quality. I also enjoy writing and proof reading. My mind works wonderfully on the Language & Arts level, not so much when it comes to science and math :) I am an amateur journalist and blog writer, and hope to eventually write a novel. I am also the owner and editor of an online independent music magazine that I have been running off and on now for close to 10 years.
