I majored in Illustration at Massachusetts College of Art and Design and worked for Dartmouth Publishing in Sudbury, MA, from 1999 - December 2012, where I was a staff illustrator. My projects at Dartmouth Publishing started with simple infographical charts and black line illustration for education and science media, including some traditional illustration with pen and ink. The increasing complexity of projects assigned to me and the rapid-fire pace of production art have strengthened my speed and skills with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Carrara 3D Pro over the years. Since leaving Mass Art I've done too many freelance projects to list individually here; including several projects during 1995-1997 for Corey McPherson Nash in Watertown MA. Those projects mostly included storyboard and concept art for print and web media. Currently, I would like to take on some freelance work to expand my horizons and to diversify my portfolio. Tyson Bodnarchuk, an illustrator and former resident of Winnipeg made Montreal his home many years ago. He has been obsessed with drawing cute yet creepy monsters since he was able to pick up a pencil. His style is definitely his own, but his work has always been influenced by amazing people like Jim Henson, Maurice Sendak, Jack Kirby as well as campy science fiction and horror culture. Throw in an infatuation with retro boardgames and you can get a real good idea of where his aesthetic style leans toward. www.tysonbodnarchuk.com
