I grew up in a small town in Manitoba, Canada. One of the traits of living in a small town is that more often than not, if you needed something done, you did it yourself. It didn’t matter if you were good at it, you learned how to do it and it worked. Many of us try and carry that concept into business and we fail. Why is that? A lesson that I learned early on is that you need to surround yourself with people who are awesome at the skills where you’re less than perfect. I help businesses alleviate the pain of their website marketing with a vicious focus on long term goals and dedicated relationships. I provide web design, graphic design, videography, training, support, and consulting. If I can’t be of service, I may know others who can meet your needs. I work together with my connections to grow our businesses together. You need the right people are in place to help make your business a success. Send an email to info@richardbankertwebdesign.com and tell me what your business needs are. We can help you with web design, graphic design, logos, social networks, training, photography, videos, web hosting , domain management, and much more. I graduated in 2009 with a B.A. in Fine Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design. Since 2003, my abilities have been acquired through freelance 2d, 3d, and web design, in order to sharpen, expand, and develope my skills in design overall. I have done this through personal experience in working with clients, learning new software not taught in typical design instruction, and creating new ways to incoporate those tools into my design projects. Althgouh my resume and work experience may reflect a lack of time spent in a “professional” work place, I make up for it in creativity in the artwork I produce, the ambition I bring to my role in any company, and interest in developing new ways to improve designs through more than just the typical clipart style most designers have adopted. I am experienced in programs like, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, for print and desktop publishing. Dreamweaver, Flash, and Fireworks, iWeb for web design and web animation. Blender 3D, Google Sketchup Pro, and Live Interiors 3D for 3d design, modeling, and animation. For videography projects, I utilize tools such as Final Cut Pro HD, iMovie, and iDVD, for initial editing, video producing, and final DVD authoring. I am experienced in working with both PC and Mac platforms of operating systems and software programs. I would appreciate you consideration of my credentials in your search for filling this position. I am available for immediate contact by phone, or email. I thank you for this opportunity and for your time and consideration.
