I started drawing at a very young age, and aside from normal high school art courses, am completely self-taught. I do mostly pencil sketches, but do paint the occasional mural, truck tailgate, canvas painting and I even dabble in graphic design. My favourite pieces usually include animals, and I am an avid amateur photographer as well. I have one photo already published by the International Library of Photography in their annual anthology called "Visions of the Soul". I do commissioned pieces, as well as random ideas that come to mind. I've done some tattoo flash, as well as custom designs, and will be starting my tattoo apprenticeship later this year. I have been accepted into the Shaw Festival and other juried art shows in the Niagara Region in previous years for my original work. It's been awhile since I've been serious in the local art scene. People here just don't want to pay for quality. I also enjoy writing and proof reading. My mind works wonderfully on the Language & Arts level, not so much when it comes to science and math :) I am an amateur journalist and blog writer, and hope to eventually write a novel. I am also the owner and editor of an online independent music magazine that I have been running off and on now for close to 10 years.

The pictures I've added, I didn't draw! Alex, born and raised in San Diego, joined the Army at 19 and have been doing it for 18 years. I've written a script for comic series, been edited and I'm just awaiting an artist. I've commissioned four separate artists. I've let one go because his style just didn't fit. Three because of unprofessionalism. I do pay, and the series will be pitched to several of the minor comic book companies. I need a dedicated artist that will see the limited series to the end. Each issue is 22 pages, plus cover. I only require pencils and inks, I have a colorist and letterer. min: $75 a page for pencils and inks. Willing to go up, depending on talent, and previous professional work. I will pay up to $1000.00 a month (sorry I'm on a budget too). One series is 6 issues, 22 pages, plus 7 covers, with the final issue being 32 pages. The pages of art I've added are from previous artist, that couldn't meet the deadline. I'm serious about making this happen.

I am a New York-based composer and classically-trained pianist, having graduated from NYU in '09 with a BA in music composition and film scoring. My style is instrumental electronica mixed with contemporary classical, but I often write in a variety of genres to fit the specific needs of a project. I am influenced by the film scores of Philip Glass, the piano works of Maurice Ravel, and modern electronica like Bonobo and Imogen Heap. You can visit www.rebeccabrandtmusic.com to view samples of my work. I can send further video or audio samples upon request. A bit about myself: As a composer, I score a variety of films and multimedia projects, including the Paul Hannah feature “Consinsual" and the film’s sizzle trailer. I have freelance composed at music production house The Lodge, where I wrote original commercial spots sent to major clients such as Kellogg’s, Mattel, MTV, and Audi. Recent projects include scoring a short Chinese film entitled "Play," to be shipped around international festivals; working with an award-winning theatre director as composer for several upcoming theatre productions; working with Gary Schall of the Steve Reich Ensemble on a piano phasing performance to premiere at Carnegie Hall in April 2012. Along with my composition skills, I am proficient in music editing, mixing, orchestration, arranging, and transcribing scores; I play piano, violin, mallets, accordion, and various percussion. I am knowledgeable in Logic, ProTools, Digital Performer, Finale, Sibelius, Reason, and Garageband. I pride myself on being organized and responsible, with a fast turn-around time.
