Hello, my name is David Bezzina, Mythology, adventure, fantastic tales of horror and magic, science fiction and pulp fantasy are the subjects which most inspire me. I love a myriad of art styles and artists, from the legendary Jack Kirby to 19th century illustrators like Edmund Dulac, N.C Wyeth, Arthur Rackham, William Russell Flint and Henry Justice Ford. I grew up obsessed by British weekly comics (Whizzer & Chips and Knockout from the 70's were my first regular buys) and American monthly mags from Marvel, Charlton and DC. Paperback cover Illustrators like Chris Foss, Sanjulian, Rodney Matthews, Bruce Pennington, Peter Andrew Jones, Melvyn, Alan Lee, Jeffrey Jones & Frank Frazetta are big influences. I like the work of Alphonse Mucha, Corot, Sargent, Repin, Klimt and JMW Turner to name a few. thank you. and if you would like to discuss a commission don't be shy. David

I am a Fashion Trend Illustrator who had recently been invited to have her portfolio featured at Google's. I am a former architect but who switched to fashion illustration in 1990. For that I studied at Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.), New York, where I was awarded Summa-***-Laude as recognition for excellence. After graduation from F.I.T.,I worked in Manhattan as a freelance fashion illustrator and had a faithful clientelle because of my creativity, technical skill and reliability. I am also quite a pleasant person to work with. My faces are all confidently and expertly drawn through years of practice. My linework is spontaneous and witty, making even simple B/W illustrations full of depth and perspective. This also has been a result of hard work and practice. The poses that I use for my models are always fresh, fashionable and edgy and are instinctively (now) based on important Gesture drawing. My favorite medium is water color but I also like to experiment. When I get results that I like, off they go into my personal portfolio. Also had been a handbag designer/illustrator for Japanese & American markets.
