I'm Haley, and I'm currently still a high school student, and right now I'm still working to just expand my knowledge of my criteria that's been listed, so one day I can perhaps have a successful career like any other person hopes. I'm highly interested in writing, and am open to any opportunity offered to me. I've been working and writing since I was in the fifth grade, and ever growing since. I've had a few honorable mentions since this time and hope to grow even more so through this site. I also like to design in fashion, and yes my work is amateur but i plan to improve in the near future due to some classes ill be taking. I've always found it interesting and much more fun to create your own work instead of allowing someone else to design for you. Sewing is new to me and I'm slowly working on it as well as sketching. When I get some good ones I'll try to put them under my portfolio. I dance at a local school. Ballet/lyrical is my strong point, since I've been taking it for seven years. In the future I hope to learn to dance on point, master spotting, and achieve my splits on my left side. I love what I do and dancing is part of my passion. I'm an amateur in Tap, something I hope to improve overtime, since I have only helped teach it to young kids, ranging fro 4-9. I took a year of hip hop and would have liked to go further in it, except money didn't allow that. I'm interested in Latin and ballroom as well, though I have yet to take any classes for those types of dance.

Max Baumeister Atzmere7@gmail.com (225)620-8910) Salutations! This will not be a typical job application because I find those boring, unnecessary, and highly pretentious. My name is Max Baumeister and my job credentials… I have a journalism degree An associate arts degree. I can program websites- HTML is very rusty, however, but easily format and build web-sites, especially, associated with programs such as wordpress. My first national publication was at age 12 and my first book published (full length) at age 15. I am currently working on another project but recently became ill- nothing serious- but I had to stop the six projects I was on and reduce it to two. I write on most topics but excel in these areas- Psychology Health Psychiatry Pharmacology These three fields must be cultivated for a larger audience base! These will be topics for the concerned parents, the L.S.U. student and the intellectual, all to sit down with crispy brown gooey pancakes and read. This brings me to the next issue. I have worked with more newspapers than I can count and I admit, most are small, but working at large presses leads me more as a financial and writing outlet. Presses that are struggling financially- I have some tricks up my sleeve- tricks nobody else seems to be able to implicate- even if they know them. All, in all, I would say I am a good catch. Please fill me in on any positions. Below is just an article to show you what I do but it is dumbed down significantly. Do not take this offensively, however, I wrote technically for many years. If anything opens, please do call. That would be very gracious of you. Mojo, Spice, K2 Synthetic ********* (mojo, Spice, K2 are all correlated in terminology to this havoc wreaking epidemic) was first available in 2006 and a user I befriended was quoted: “It makes me feel paranoid. I always feel like the police are coming after me, I am nervous, and my head just seems off… My throat burns.” This story is one of many easily dictated from his memory. Luckily, unlike many users, he did not become obsessively addicted to it. However, he did add, “That’s some potent -------.” So what is Synthetic *********? Originally, it was easily sold at gas stations and all Tabacco related stores. It claims to be all natural, but there is nothing natural in this substance. Do these few compounds that are in some of the drugs sound natural; HU-210, CP 47, 497? Of course, actions were taken on this harmful substance. Actually, the DEA has recently been on top of this matter because it is destructive, but how destructive- we have yet to know- but it seems extensive. Studies on this substance are lacking despite the urgency, and it seems that only a handful understand the detrimental effects. However, Emergency room Doctors see the behavior close up and witness the affects this potent drug has on victims. Medical Experts have been sounding alarms about this from the beginning and although the DEA is trying to inhibit usage it lacks success in many ways. Every time the DEA out laws a substance, the manufactures simply alter the chemical structure slightly, and it goes straight back on the shelves. Mojo is created by spraying leafy materials with lab synthesized liquid chemicals to mimic the effect of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) which is the main ingredient for *********. People are under the impression that this is a safe form of using legalized weed but the truth is that it actually is more harmful than typical ********* in the vast majority of cases. People tend to have a greater high on synthetic *********, but the long-term effects are far more disastrous than teenagers realize and sadly, some experts think, many teenagers must live to learn. One nurse says the following: “When they come in on this drug, they act deranged, are confused, they can be absurdly manic and very paranoid. In one case, as patient “A” got better, “A” apologize for the behavior conducted and, in fact, was clueless of all the commotion this individual created. As far as getting better…. It can take several days… weeks… or even months.” What makes this drug so potent, addictive, and detrimental, is that the chemicals in the drug bind to the same receptors as ********* but they bind at a much stronger level. This seems to only lead to bad and unwanted outcomes. About 50% of high school students have tried *********, while, 10% have tried synthetic *********. It is sold as an incense and as several people have notified me, “It smells like God awful!” It comes in a zip lock bag that says not for consumption but in all reality, it is considered nothing other than consumption, or that is the contributing idea. It can be used in any ways that ********* might be associated with, including, placing the substance in brownies. Synthetic ********* users report elevated mood, relaxation, and altered perception. The strength affected are heightened by the chemicals sprayed on the plants. Some noted Synthetic ********* is at least 100 times more potent than the THC found in *********. Regarding its toxicity and misguided use, there have been 11,400 cases in 2010 in emergency room which was a record number. It is suspected for at least 3 deaths and statistics show that this number is not exactly calculable as of yet. However, as more teens look at this product as safe to use and can go through drug screens without having the substance appear, worry should be well established. We need to accomplish three things: A. We need Teenagers to be educated. B. We need research done on what exact harm can occur from this substance. C. We need to stop the large corporations who are the central source for aggravating this problem. They should be held responsible. MAX BAUMEISTER 14335 Awtrey Drive Prarieville, LA | 2256208910 | Atzmere7@gmail.com SUMMARY Although, I live in Baton Rouge, my skills in computers is vastly superior and I can correlate through both the internet and the phone. I further conduct business meeting using skype. That is seldom required but always a possibility if necessary. I was a freelance journalist (among many other professions in the field of writing) and I had no problem conducting business while using the internet. I am a very business oriented person, and because I am not afraid to suggest positive ideas and easily go the extra mile, I have had a large business based career. Before going into college I managed restaurant chains where I learned a variety of skills that do pertain to newspapers. I have worked financially within newspapers because they are generally run by journalist, and journalist normally have trouble with business related aspects. It has been my pleasure to make several newspapers profitable by reducing costs and increasing profits. Although, most people are professional writers. I am a life-long author. My first book was published at the age of 15 and it exceeded 250 pages. It was printed but given my age, although enormously superior skill, it was not my favorite piece of work in my life. I am currently writing my next book, American Kid Rated R. Many people ask to read some of it and I am always curious to see what their thoughts are and focus groups show nothing but positive feedback. It is a four book series and I have already written and signed a contract. Nevertheless, any opportunity, job wise, I will place at the head and center of my goals of achievement. Regardless of salary, I work relentlessly and place ungodly amounts of effort into my work. I am a firm believer in a writing code that many authors lack: There is no such thing as perfection. Thus, I continually strive for it but never reach that measure. This logic puts me ahead of 99% of writers as I try desperately to achieve the impossible. Deadlines are my enemy, however, I have never faltered from absentee regarding deadlines. I am very punctual. If you are considering me for employment you must be prepared to inform me of strict guidelines or else I shall speak my mind in regards to helping you achieve maximum success. I do not believe companies should be static but instead, a line of an upward hill momentum should be “graphed” in all companies. To be static means to be satisfied with no momentum. There should always be momentum and if you allow me to work for you, and allow me to help- momentum shall be like a train’s whistle because I love working for companies or projects that plan on going uphill. I have done technical writing for Pharmaceutical companies. This had to end because they are dishonest and coheres writers into dishonest behavior. Although, none will admit to this trend, any person in the line of pharmaceutics or technical writing for projects regarding these companies knowingly accept large amounts of income for faulty work. My work will always be truthful and I will maintain a level headed presentation of work. FACT: Drug Reps are generally recruited from college cheerleaders to appeal to the doctors. That is just a “bit” of the level of dishonest measures they display, and when it comes to a person’s health, I cannot be paid to take a dive. I have done a lot of different jobs but writing books is my favorite item. I have six books planned in the future, however, now is not the correct time for such a task. I have done a great deal of Journalism, technical writing, Blogging, creative writing, and book publishing. I have been involved in all types of writing. I have written Blogs, Books, newspaper articles, technical writing, freelance, and everything under the sun, except sports. COMPUTER SKILLS Languages- I know the following computer programming languages: Basic, Qbasic, Pasqual, Visual Basic, C+, and HTML- I am Rusty on each and every one (I went to college each summer in high-school where I learned these languages), however, I am experienced in WordPress and can make top of the line web-sites. WordPress is a leading tool in web design and takes a huge amount of time to become even slightly sophisticated in usage. I am overly fluent in WordPress. • I am skilled at OFFICE (Word, Power-point, Excel) Software • I mainly use MICOROSOFT WORD and Word Perfect but because of the general consensus that Microsoft word is the best, (it is not) I focus on Word. EXPERIENCE 2015 I have been freelancing for the last year and I am sure I can find a source that would be happy to speak positively of my work ethics, values, leadership abilities, and amount of strength I bring to complex roles. Some freelancing in the past year has been more complex than just sending in work but I have experienced both methods in the last year. 2000 Journalist The Advocate I was friends with the editor and was attending school. This was a huge newspaper and they offered me a full-time position but I declined three times. Nevertheless, I submitted over 25 pieces of writing on various topics, some making big splashes, each year about 2 ½ years. They paid per piece but I was not picky about the money because I was in school and focused on studies. 2000 Journalist/creative writer Tiger Weekly This was a newspaper I worked for briefly. It was funded by LSU that had no desire to increase its potential but I worked here for a while. I mainly worked here because I was requested numerous times to help but left to join the Advocate. 2014 I finished school at this year. I believe a person should be superiorly educated in all areas. This even includes philosophy which I took four classes in. After receiving my journalism degree I would work and come back to Baton Rouge and engage in studies once more. I always crave knowledge. For instance, I am currently looking into going to college or finding some way to learn how to speak French fluently. I love London and actually prefer it to France but many people speak French and I plan to move there permanently in distant years. The only subject I do not find of value is arithmetic. 1995? Author, Chipmunka Press • First book I published between ages 14-16. It was a 250+ page book. 2010 Journalist/manager Lafayette Press This was a job where I turned the tables on a press going downhill and rose it back to a functioning status. I had many people to help me but I was a main driver towards the uphill climb and as I said earlier, I only accept jobs that are looking for an uphill climb. 2000? Chain Manager, Papa Murphy’s • This among many business oriented jobs taught me leadership skills and advancement on how to turn one penny into one dollar. (not literally) I learned a lot about money, how to make it, and the creative process that is needed in the business world in order to go at an upward slope. I do not deal with companies that wish to remain static. I always follow, like a stock on the rise, going uphill in all fields considered of importance. It is necessary that I am given a specific task and told exactly what to do or else I will speak my mind openly on ways to advance anything I am involved with to create positive outcomes. I believe literature and business make a coherent tie but it is rarely seen. Why do I say this? The creative process produces ideas and having a business leadership allows these ideas to flourish into brilliance. THESE EXPERIENCES ARE NOT LISTED IN ORDER AND THE DATES ARE A LITTLE HAZY BECAUSE I DO NOT KEEP FIRM RECORDS. EDUCATION 2 005 Journalism, Louisiana State University 2012 Associates in English (Arts, Literature), River Parish Education is heavily important to me as you read above. I did advance in behavioral science, and if you know what this is you will know this is a very broad term. I did focus on particular aspects. I study psychiatry, psychology, and pharmacology, (the three go together) and spend income to obtain data that details all FDA approvals the moment it happens. I do not like to be the news but rather the breaking news. The difference? I want to know the minute something comes up before anybody else does and in health-care, I am, currently monitoring everything in this style. I pay for programs that give me in depth details about information so that I know that everything is accurate rather than base my information on web related sources. I also do a lot of phone based interviews and check-ups because my data will not be inaccurate or skewed. As a journalist, the thought of this happening, placing a bad taste in my mouth. As far as healthcare is concerned, I am on the cutting edge, and have access to the necessary tools required to make accurate featured articles. I do not play around when it comes to this job. You may see this as a career but I see it as my life. M.T.B.
