Other duties included welding and working with structural steel, moulding and casting, feather punching, painting and air brushing and other high realism techniques, as well as the extensive use of Photoshop imaging techniques to give clients an impression of the final product using maquettes. Large scale projects included the Trail Marker Tree project, the Minniapolis-St.Paul airport project, the Nashville Children’s Museum Project and the National Geographic project at Laguardia and Vancouver airports. 1995 - 2001 Model Maker Alberta Industrial Models I was required to use various scaling and building techniques, small scale casting and mould making and reading and interpretation of blue prints to make accurate scale models of various industry technologies and equipment and representations of their uses in the field. 1994 - 1997 Prototype Sculptor Irwin Toys Limited I sculpted the prototypes of the Franklin the Turtle play figures, created the masters for the Sailor Moon figures and produced masters for accessories for the ReBoot figures. I also developed the prototypes for various other toys. May 1991 - June 1992 Art Teacher/ Facilitator Scarborough Board of Education I developed and taught Visual Arts course modules in printmaking, clay work and painting as well as creating displays for the Artfax Program. I also have an extensive background in theatre, having played such roles as Bob Wallace in "White Christmas," Mr. Boddy in "Clue: The Musical," Fred Graham/Petruchio in "Kiss Me, Kate," CC Showers in "The Diviners," and Reverend John Hale in "The Crucible." These productions were a blast, but were also directed with a high standard of professionalism from which I learned much and stretched myself to play many different types of characters, from the fun and upbeat to the dark and serious.
