Hi! My name is Brittany and I am a 17 year old writer. In my spare time I enjoy writing short stories, blogging, painting, reading, photography and internet researching. I've been writing for years and I figured I'd give a crack at trying to make some money out of it. I will be graduating high school in 2013. I'm doing this strictly so that I can save up for college; majoring in Journalism and minor in Graphic Design. Nice to meet you! I like to write! I recently visited a journalism workshop in College Station and I won a trophy for my writing. I have been on my high school newspaper staff since 2009. I am editor for year 2012-2013. I'm also not too shabby with a camera! I was on the commercial photography staff for a year also.

I am a black american and fairly well educated, For the vast majority of my life, I have been writing extensively about one thing or another. Several years ago, I was partially disabled in an accident. During my convalescence, I reviewed a lot of my writings to see how I have progressed over the years. After viewing these writings at length, I concluded that I should seek a market for my better works. Some of what I had placed on the shelf years earlier, was proving to be prophetic. In retrospect and by comparison, I find my more engaging writings vivid, pertinent and timely. There is no doubt in my mind that some of my archived material belongs in the public domain. Freelanced.com presents me with the opportunity to offer my services to others, pursue the proper venue for my better works, and interact with like minded souls. Dave Joyner........
