Besides being an actor and writer, I am also a tech geek who is extremely internet savvy. I have experience in basic video editing as well and have a working knowledge of various audio and video codecs. I have excellent grammar and math skills, but am also a very artistic, creative guy. As can be seen on my resume, I also have an extremely varied work background which has taught me many skills over the years. I'm a hard worker and a person of integrity. This quote from Martin Luther King sums up my work ethic: “If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.” Here is my "professional" resume: 2007-2011 LegalZoom.com Glendale, CA Manager, Patents Div of Intellectual Property Dept. Maintained one of the highest WTR (willingness to refer) scores in company. 2002-2007 Oasis Christian Center Los Angeles, CA Elementary Director, Service Coordinator (Volunteer) Scheduled and rallied 20+ volunteers on a weekly basis. Created new and exciting curriculum. Implemented an entirely new streamlined program for our 100+ kids. Conceived a new name and logo for kids ministry. Re-designed the kids ministry recreation and class room. Organized team building events for both kids and teachers. 2003-2006 California Pizza Kitchen Los Angeles, CA Payroll Specialist Processed Bi-weekly payroll data for 3000+ employees. Developed creative communication methods with managers to curtail procedural problems. Resolved payroll issues with swiftness and finesse. 2000-2003 California Pizza Kitchen Los Angeles, CA Mailroom Clerk and Office Services Negotiated shipping fees with vendors resulting in 20% reduced cost. Streamlined shipping procedures making them simpler and faster. Managed all incoming and outgoing mail and packages including weekly shipments to and from 100+ stores. Celestia Ward has been drawing caricatures professionally since 1992. Upon graduating from the Johns Hopkins University, she won the Lois Sudler Prize in the Arts and later trained with caricature legends Irv "QuickDraw" Finifter, Gary "Toonboy" Smith, and Tom "Chalk" Chalkley. Despite years of hard work, however, she was unable to acquire a cool nickname. She's been a member of the International Society of Caricature Artists (formerly the National Caricaturist Network) since 1996 and has taken home awards for Outstanding 3-D Technique and Most Humorous; she served as secretary-treasurer from 2000 to 2002 and continues to be a regular contributor to their trade publication, Exaggerated Features. Her past experience as a book editor came in handy when she edited Tom Richmond's book The Mad Art of Caricature, which was released in November 2011 and has been widely acclaimed as the best how-to book on caricature.
