About Me:
I'm a documentary filmmaker, camerawoman and photographer who abandoned a diplomatic career to pursue my passion for telling stories through a lens.
The years spent on work assignments with the United Nations in Latin America and Africa shaped my perspectives on contemporary social issues, while my strong ties to my home country – Italy – are responsible for my love affair with fashion and the arts.
All these influences are clearly visible in both my photography and documentary filmmaking. For instance, the very first short documentaries on which I worked as camera and co-director – Play me, I’m yours – was about a work of art aimed at bringing people together in open spaces through music. The documentary was screened at the Without Borders Film Festival in Rome in July 2010.
