About Me:
Growing up in the country with few children nearby to play with, I often took solace deep within the woods and deep within fantastical stories. They were very happy days, filled with colorful picture books and pure imagination. They've never left the forefront of my mind, and have greatly influenced my work as an artist. I enjoy creating illustrations that spark a sense of the whimsical wonderment of life, and perhaps of the nostalgic, imaginative adventures of childhood. The old pen and ink faerie tale illustrations of my youth, love of antiquity, and my desire for a more modern, playful feel has led to my current style as an illustrator, and the pursuit of a career in children's books.
